The incorporation of raw food in our regular diet provides the body with many health benefits. This kind of diet works wonders for the proper functioning of the body. The most important thing about this diet, is the presence of fibers.
Process of digestion is improved greatly with the use of these foods. Initially, it can be difficult to make a transition from the regular diet to this diet. However, with proper know-how of the recipes and most importantly the benefits, this task becomes much easier. The recipes mentioned here will help you to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Avocado Celery Stuffing

  • Celery, 5-6 ribs
  • Avocados, (ripe and large ) 2
  • Parsley, (small bunch) 1
  • Garlic Cloves, (crushed) 3
  • Lacinto Kale, 1 bunch
The celery ribs and parsley should be chopped. Avocados need to be mashed and mixed with the chopped parsley and celery. Garlic press should be used to crush the cloves. Garlic adds spice to the dish.
A top stuffing of the flakes of Dulse seaweed can be spread over the whole mixture. This mixture should then be spread on the leaves of Lacinto kale. It facilitates eating the dish like a taco or wrap.

Green Soup

  • English Cucumber, (chopped roughly) ½ cup
  • Dulse Seaweed, ¼ cup
  • Celery Ribs, (chopped roughly) 5
  • Tomatoes, 2
  • Bell Pepper, ½
  • Seasoning (preferably organic 1 tsp.)
  • Cabbage Sauerkraut, 2 tbsp.
  • Avocado, ½
  • Green Vegetables, i.e., spinach, kale and chard (chopped) ½ cup
  • Garnished Sprouts, 1 cup
All the ingredients mentioned here, except the ones that are being used for garnishing, should be added together in a blender. Adding seasonings and dulse to the mixture is optional and it depends on your taste. The ingredients like sprouts, parsley, bell pepper (chopped), avocado, and tomatoes can be used for garnishing the dish.

Apple Pie

It is one of the tasty and easy recipe. The ingredients and procedure for this recipe are given here. One would also need a pie-crust to prepare this dish. Let us first have a look at the pie-crust ingredients and the recipe.

  • Almonds, 1½ cups
  • Cinnamon, ¼ tsp.
  • Pitted Dates, 1 cup
  • Vanilla Bean Seeds, 1 vanilla
Process the almonds in a food processor using a 'S'-blade; a coarse flour of almond should be obtained. Add cinnamon, dates and coconut oil to the almonds and this mixture should be processed once again using the 'S'-blade. The processing should be done so that the dough is formed. This dough should be pressed in a pie pan to form the pie-crust.
Apple Pie Recipe

  • Small-sized Fuji Apples, 7
  • Cinnamon, (¼ and ½ tsp. of cinnamon is required separately at the time of preparation)
  • Lemon Juice (squeezed out of ½ lemon)
  • Lemon Zest, ⅛ tsp.
  • Dates, 1 cup
  • Virgin Coconut Oil, 1 tsp.
First step in the process for preparing the apple pie recipe is to process 5 chopped apples, so that tiny pieces are formed. Cinnamon (¼ tsp.) and lemon juice should be poured over the processed apples. Dehydration need to be carried out for a few hours.
The next step is that of preparing apple sauce by creating a blend of chopped apples (2), dates (1 cup), lemon zest (⅛ tsp.), and cinnamon (½ tsp.). The dehydrated apple mixture and applesauce should be mixed together in a bowl. This mixture should then be poured over the pie-crust followed by refrigeration for minimum 2 hours.
This form of food is a healthy option and is much better than eating junk food. One should try to incorporate as many dishes like these, as possible, in their regular diet.
