Green tea is a beverage prepared with the leaves of the plant, known as Camellia sinensis. It basically differs from the other types of tea, such as black and oolong tea, by the fact that it is the least processed version. In fact, the tea leaves undergo minimal processing while preparing green tea. The leaves are simply weathered and then steamed to make green tea. On the other hand, tea leaves are fermented to make black and oolong tea.
