  • Oatmeal comprises both soluble and insoluble dietary fiber. β-glucan is a type of soluble dietary fiber found in oats, which helps in lowering LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) without affecting HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol), and in weight loss.
