Madhurjya Bhattacharyya
A low-protein diet plan is necessary for the well-being of necessary organs of the body like the liver and kidneys. Protein is an essential element which is required for the well-being of the body, but too much consumption may be harmful.
Protein, broken by the liver, is excreted in the form of urea as a waste product. In case there's any disease of the liver, then it's unable to properly break down foods rich in protein. Similarly, if the kidneys don't function in proper order, or if there's excess amounts of protein in the body, the kidneys may not be able to excrete the excess amount.
The build up of uric acid leads to fatigue and losing appetite. And this is where a low-protein diet plan comes into play. If you consume less of protein rich foods, the liver and the kidneys would be able to metabolize them properly, thereby giving your body just enough protein it requires.
