Fruits and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are considered happy and healthy foods. But some of them can cause bloating and gas. Some vegetables and fruits are rich in sugar and fiber content, which causes the formation of gas in the stomach. Vegetables include dried peas, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, onions, artichokes, asparagus, and beans. Fruits are peaches, pears, prunes, and apples. Such fruits contain a type of sugar called sorbitol, which is the prime cause of bloating and gas.
