Don't Worry

Relax, and do not worry at all. There is always a way out, or rather ways out. I would let you know about those: One being prescribed by most and one that I followed and thereby would like to recommend you as well.

What Others Recommend

People always recommend you to go through a lot of pain, they suggest you to exercise regularly, hit the gym on a daily basis, and eat light food items. All these recommendations are cent percent right. 

But, why to bother yourself when you have other easy alternate ways.

What I Did?

Not long back, I used to weigh somewhere around 100 kilograms. One fine day I decided to shed some weight. But, I was in dilemma what to do and what not to.

After a lot of research, I made a list of things to do and not to do, to eat and not to eat, to drink and not to drink.

What to Do?

  • 6 to 7 hours of sleep each night
  • Light exercise or swift walking for 30 minutes a day is recommended
  • Eat healthy
  • Eat more in breakfast, moderate in lunch and least in dinner
  • Drink ample water (min. 3 to 4 liters) a day
  • Before having cheat meal, you can jump or dance or exercise for a few minutes
  • Check your weight weekly
  • Consult your doctor

What Not to do?

  • Avoid oily food
  • Avoid liquor
  • Don't oversleep
  • Avoid smoking
  • Unstable workout duration should be avoided

What to Eat?

  • 2 boiled eggs, 3-4 chapatis, fresh veggies, fruits and sugar-free juice is recommended in breakfast
  • 2 chapatis, fresh veggies, pulses and fish/chicken soup is recommended in lunch
  • 1 small bowl of gram with bitter-guard juice can be taken in the evening
  • 2 chapatis, fresh veggies with pulses is recommended in dinner
  • Fixed duration in between meal

What Not to Eat?

  • Avoid sweets in any form
  • Avoid oily and fat-rich food items
  • Avoid intake of raw salt and sugar
  • Red meat is strictly prohibited

What to Drink?

  • Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water and a cup of green tea with a teaspoon of lemon juice and honey stirred with it
  • Green tea can be taken in evening as well
  • Ample water(3-4 liters) a day
  • Bitter-gourd juice is recommended once or twice a day
  • Lukewarm water is recommended throughout the day for quick results

What Not to Drink?

  • Avoid chilled/very cold water
  • Avoid liquor
  • Avoid soft drinks and sugar-rich juices
Although it looks difficult to follow but it's certainly not impossible for the fitness freaks and health-conscious people. Always remember, "No pain, no gain."

It's a tried and tested way of losing weight. So, go ahead with this and experience "a better you."
