People with blood Type A have sensitive digestive systems and should prefer vegetable diet. They are intolerant to animal protein and dairy products. So, if you are one of them, then foods you eat must include whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables.

The lack of protein in your diet can be made up with foods like tofu and Hawaiian spirulina, which are rich sources of vegetable protein. People with blood type A don't have the ability to absorb vitamin B12 from the foods they eat.
