Cappuccino Calories

Arjun Kulkarni
Cappuccino is made with equal parts of espresso, steamed milk, and milk froth. This story talks about the calorific content of this coffee.
Everyone loves and needs their cup of coffee during the day. It is the temporary boost in energy that the cuppa gives, which the people cannot resist! While on a weight loss diet, a lot of people cut down on fatty, fried, and sugary items. Why? Because consuming such foods results in the intake of more calories than needed.
When the calories consumed are higher than one can burn, then the fat reserves in the body increase, and the whole dieting exercise goes for a toss. Hence, the intake of certain types of food, specifically sugary, fatty, and fried foods should be kept under control.
However, while a keen eye is kept on these food items, a couple of them manage to slip in unsuspecting, breaking our guard; things like coffee to be precise. While we are too busy resisting the allure of the pizzas and the burgers, we consume copious amounts of our cappuccino daily, unaware of what we're taking in.
What one fails to realize is the number of calories one is consuming with each cup of coffee.

The amount of calories may vary from place to place, as the beverage is handcrafted, and is often customized (variation in the milk and sugar quantities).
Therefore, if you are following a weight loss diet, you should choose your coffee carefully. Needless to say, if you dump a lot of sugar in your espresso, then you've obviously lost the plot. While coffee gives our system the much-needed boost, it is important to keep the consumption in check.
