Chicken Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
Green onions, 6
Cans of diced tomatoes, 2
Green peppers, 2
Cabbage, ½
Celery, 1 bunch
Chicken cubes, 2 (this ingredient is optional)
Onion soup mix, 1 pack
Soy sauce, curry powder, salt, pepper, parsley, and garlic powder for taste
Preparation:
Take a large pot, and wet it with cooking spray.
Now saute all vegetables, except cabbage and tomatoes.
Saute them till they become tender.
Add cabbage, and around 10 cups of water.
Now add the chicken cubes, the onion soup mix, and all the ingredients for taste.
Cook for about 15 minutes, and add tomatoes.
Serve hot.
Cabbage and Buttermilk Soup
Ingredients:
Finely shredded green cabbage, 3 cups
Buttermilk, 2 cups
Beef or chicken broth, 3 cups
Finely diced cucumber, 1
Minced fresh dill, 1 tbsp
Prepared mustard, 1 tbsp
Fresh parsley, 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Take a medium saucepan, add the broth heat it, then add the cabbage.
Simmer for about 10 min.
Remove the pan from the flame and add the mustard, dill, and sugar.
Mix well. Pour in the buttermilk, and add the diced cucumber.

Condensed beef broth, 1 can

Shortening, 1 tbsp
Sour cream
Dash pepper
Preparation:
Take a medium saucepan, and add the broth with shortening.
