Ingredients
  • Beetroots, 2 (medium-sized)
  • Carrots, 2
  • Lemon, 1 (juiced)
  • Apples, 3
  • Root ginger, 2 inches (peeled and sliced)
Method
1. Peel the beetroot and carrots and wash well along with the apples and lemon.
2. Cut all the above into thick chunks, and add them along with the ginger to a blender.
3. Blend for 45 seconds or until completely smooth; add water if needed to adjust the consistency.
4. Add the lemon juice and blend again.
5. Strain if necessary and serve chilled.

Beetroot Juice with Cucumber and Pineapple

Ingredients
  • Beetroots, 2 (medium-sized)
  • Cucumber, 2
  • Fresh pineapple, 1 (small)
  • Lemon, ½ (juiced)
  • Mint, 1 small sprig
Method
1. Peel the beetroot and cucumber. Peel and core the pineapple.
2. Cut all the above into chunks, then add the lemon juice to them, and place them in the blender.
3. Blend for 45 seconds or until smooth.
4. Strain and serve, garnished with mint.

Beetroot Juice with Carrots and Celery

Ingredients
  • Beetroots, 2 (medium-sized)
  • Carrots, 2
  • Lemon, 1 (juiced)
  • Celery stalks, 3
  • Pinch of salt
Method
1. Peel and wash the beets and carrots. Cut into chunks.
2. Place in the blender along with the lemon juice and salt; break the celery stalks into smaller pieces and add them as well.
3. Blend for 45 seconds until smooth.
4. Serve chilled.
