Aparna Jadhav
The soup diet is a 7 day diet that claims to help the dieters lose anywhere between 10 to 20 pounds. Provided here is the information about this diet, along with the menu plan.
The 7 day soup diet simple fat burning soup that has almost no calories, and is a convenient way to lose weight at home. The hero of this "eat more and lose more weight" soup is nothing but cabbage. This is the easiest way of losing weight, even if you keep eating it thrice a day.
It's the best tip for those of you who desperately want to lose weight, and think starving is a useful way to do the same. Even though starving would not be as useful as eating a healthy soup and not accumulating calories, the soup diet should not be the only thing you consume. It is advised that soup should be accompanied with a healthy diet as well.
There are some foods that help you burn more calories, resulting in weight loss and a fit body, with the right amount of nutrients and exercise. You can lose as much as 10 to 20 pounds in seven days as a result of the regularity, and a controlled consumption of your diet.
The diet includes many low calorie vegetables like onions, tomatoes, potatoes, fruit juices, and even beef on one of the days.
Fruits such as limes, oranges, grapes, and other vegetables like broccoli, carrots, and celery are rich in vitamin C which acts as a "fat burner". Some contain high values of calcium, which is a major component in building strong bones.
Vitamin C in these foods dilutes the fat, reducing its effectiveness; and hence it can be discarded out of the system easily. Another component called pectin, found in apples and fresh fruits, limits the fat by absorbing it through the cells. It also absorbs liquid and watery substances by a reaction of these on the cells, which releases the fat deposits.

Day 1

Try eating as many fruits as you can, so that you have a lot of Vitamin C to burn all your fat in the coming days. Drink liquids like black coffee and black tea without sugar, cranberry juice, and at least 3 liters of water. Don't forget to have your cabbage soup twice at least.

Day 2

If you're done thriving on a liquid and semi liquid diet for the first day, the second day would definitely help you eat more. You can eat raw or cooked vegetables, the kind you like, but not peas and sweet corn for the day.
One baked potato with butter is allowed for breakfast. A lot of cabbage soup can be enjoyed.

Day 3

On the third day, you can have all the fruits and vegetables you want to, along with the soup, of course.

Day 4

On the fourth day of your diet, you are supposed to eat 8 bananas, and skim milk to make up for the lost potassium during the first three days. Make sure you drink your cabbage soup, and a good amount of water today.

Day 5

Have at least 300 - 400g of beef and 6 tomatoes with a lot of water and cabbage soup today. If you don't eat beef, you can have some baked chicken or broiled fish.

Day 6

Day 7

Brown rice, vegetables, fruits, and bread are advised today. No alcohol or carbonated drinks.
